Driver’s Briefing:                           10.45am at Venue Sunday 21st March 2010

Start:                                             11.00am    

The venue is in Quail Valley located approximately 10km up the 88  Valley Road which turns off to the left just after Wakefield and the course will be arrowed from the 88 Valley - Quail Valley intersection.

2010 Clubsport Championships

 It has been recommended by the committee that Class C becomes 2-wheel drive open.

This is to make it fairer for the large capacity or turbo two wheel drive vehicles.

It also will bring Nelson in line with Marlborough Car Club class's

The cars affected are, Bruce Farley's Rover, Nigel Curtis's RX 7 V8, and Gary Adcock's BMW.

There are also a number of cars from MCC. The class would be 1601cc and above 2-Wheel drive. 

Looking at results for the events this year  the class change will not affect the winners in this class (or obviously Class D).

The fastest cars in this class would still be the Fiesta's, the faster Escorts and RX7 Rotary's. The Class C currently has insufficient cars to make the class viable.

If this is passed by the AGM, the 2010 results will be in this format, if not 2010 results will be as per current system.
